We selected Veterans fence because of their Outstanding communication. The estimates were in line with others. With this a winter project the front office was great working with us on the schedule and around the changing weather. The work crew with Logan in charge continued the great communication working through some of the challenges of a yard with lots of trees, rocks and slope changes. The finished fence is better than we imagined. Highly recommend this company.
I got estimates from five local fence companies. I hit the jackpot when I found Veterans Fence, the 5th estimate. From the very beginning, I knew I had found my fencing contractor. Mike, my salesman came out to look at my yard and make an estimate. He answered all my questions and suggested that I might like to go to the office in North Royalton and look at the sample fence panels they have on display. I did that and met Robby who spent a lot of time with me even after our meeting went past their business hours. Every question I had was answered and it was obvious how much pride he had in the company, the products they offered, and all the employees. I decided on a white vinyl privacy fence with a lattice top, garden access gate, and a black aluminum driveway gate. Tabitha and Kelly in the office were wonderful and worked with me on scheduling and permits, and Mike came out several times for measuring and consultation. Veterans Fence was not the highest or lowest bid I received, but the professionalism, quality, warranty, experience, and character of the entire staff won me over fast and is worth more than I can express. Days after I signed the contract I had to revise the height of the aluminum driveway gate from four feet high to six feet high. I had just adopted a rescue dog, who is actually the final push for me to get the new fence and gate. He is a 65 pound, strong dog but I thought the four foot fence over the driveway would be high enough for him. That is, until I watched my new dog fly over the old 4 foot chain link fence like he was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Mike took my emergency text about the needed materials change with calmness, confidence and a welcome dose of good humor. A new estimate was made quickly with no hassle to me at all. The final order was done the last week of November 2025. The installation began on January 21, 2026. The installation crew was spectacular! I can NOT say enough about Logan and his whole crew. The team called ahead to make sure I knew they were coming. They arrived on time, walked me through the process and got to work immediately. Logan's professional experience came into play during the walk thru and he suggested that I might want to move the location of the garden gate, to maximize accessibility to the back utility company easement while also making the cherry tree in the garden more able to flourish. Brilliant! This kind of attention to detail went above and beyond my expectations. It is valuable and rare and it made a big difference in the functionality of the final project. The whole team was very considerate of my neighbors, making sure that they did not block their driveways or overstep when they needed access to their properties while doing the installation. They also were SUPER good with my dog, who the entire project was designed for. It was easy to see that Logan's team actually enjoyed working with one another, and that they continuously problem solved and made decisions professionally. The weather was turning very cold, very fast and the first day the crew removed all the existing fencing. The big storm hit and dumped 18" of snow and ice in my yard before the drifting. On the coldest day of this storm, with air temperatures of 7 degrees Fahrenheit and wind chill values down to -25 degrees below zero, Jon called me early to let me know he had a crazy crew of hard workers on my team that wanted to finish my job that day if I was okay with it. WHAT? On the coldest, most punishing day of the winter with 18" of snow and ice on the ground? These heroes showed up and completed the entire rest of the job that day. I have never seen more dedication to getting a job done right, especially under such hideous weather conditions. Whatever incentive program the company has for it's installation teams, this crew deserves to have it DOUBLED. The entire company made the usually tedious job of hiring a specialty building contractor enjoyable. My family is thrilled with the whole process and I highly recommend Veterans Fence. Just do it. You won't be sorry.
We ran into several delays for the installation of our fence at our newly constructed home due to some issues with the city not approving the grade of our property. Veterans Fence worked with us to get through the process and the communication with them could not have been better. Once we were ready their crew arrived when they said they would and they did a great job. They had to work through some very cold weather but the job was still completed in a timely manner and they did a good job cleaning everything up. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We're very happy we chose Veterans Fence and highly recommend them.
